Covenant Church Lake Havasu...
is an
affiliate of Covenant Church in Carrollton,
Texas. The founding Pastor and Apostle is Mike Hayes
of Carrollton, Texas. Through Covenant we are able
to participate and be involved with hundreds of ministries, outreaches and mission programs across the nation in
various ways
Covenant of Carrollton provides a spiritual covering as well as ministerial and moral support.
Pastors Joe and Rhonda Merrill
have served in the ministry
for
over 23 years.
They were married at the young
age of
seventeen
and eighteen and began their ministry
at Gateway College of Evangelism.
In 1990 they planted a church in the state of Maine and
one in
New Jersey in 1985. They have ministered in various
parts of the
country, Canada and the U.K.
In 1998 they moved to Dallas, Texas to serve at
Covenant Church in Carrollton and to build a covenant
relationship with the Pastoral team.
Pastor Joe was born again at the age of 14 years old
in Augusta, Maine. He married the preacher's
daughter in 1979.
He has a B.S. in Theology, and
a B.S. degree
in Kinesiology from Texas A&M.
Pastor Rhonda was born again at six years of age.
She
graduated with a M.S. degree in Education
and Technology from Texas A&M.
They have been married for over 26 years.
They have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
All of their children are called to ministry.
